The Chancellor of all State Universities, His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa presided over the 3rd graduation ceremony of Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS).
During the ceremony, he declared the Congregation of the Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) duly constituted as the 3rd Graduation Ceremony.
MSUAS has four major faculties which cater for engineering, agribusiness, applied sciences and technology and lastly applied social sciences. A total of 153 graduands from these four Faculties were conferred with Degrees 62 being female and 91 are male.
Amongst the graduates, Gamuchirai Chigariro and Carl Tinashe Nhapi who graduated with First Class Degrees from their respective faculties were awarded The Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa Chancellor’s Award of US$1000 for the overall best male and female students.
During the graduation ceremony, Manicaland State University Vice Chancellor Prof Albert Chawanda congratulated President E. D Mnangagwa for his assumption of SADC Chairmanship.
